Photography Club
The purpose of forming a photo club at PHS is to provide opportunities for students to be exposed to potential careers, professions, while exploring techniques, practical applications and uses as a communications media.
The goal is to introduce to our students art merged with technology through the field of photography and digital image making.

Career venues to explore through our Photo Club could include, but are not limited to:
Commercial Photography, Fashion Portaiture, Special effects, Integration of technology, Superimposing imagery, Photo constructions, Photo collage, Sports, Journalism, Documentary essays.

-Students hold offices
-Club has bank account to purchase materials
-Fundraisers to raise money
-Computer lab usage
-Fieldtrips to local studios & businesses
-Guest artists to share profession
-No equipment required to join

We are considering expanding the Photo club!
*Along with learning about photography we want to offer film studies, TV production, broadcasting, movie reviews, filmmaking, etc.
*It could potentially bcome two or three seperate clubs that interact & collaborate!
*By overlapping on certain projects we can expand opportunities. We want to connect & combine efforts as well as share resources & talents.
*The ultimate goal is to offer unique options to explore various creative communication mediums.

Art Club
The mission of the Art Club is to offer all interested students an opportunity to participate in an after school arts enrichment program.

Art Club meets Tuesdays after school from 2:00-3:00 in Art Suite 2

Students work on:
-mural projects
-Individual and group projects
-Organize trips to gallery and museum openings with parents and families.
