MULTICULTURAL EXPLORERS

Description: The purpose of this PHS extracurricular activity is to encourage language students to appreciate, respect and increase understanding of the diversity of languages, cultures and customs different from their own. By interacting with international students within the school community, tolerance and sensitivity is fostered and friendships are formed. The club hosts an annual International Welcome to introduce visiting international students to the faculty, staff and the student community-at-large. The group meets monthly throughout the school year.
