Renaissance Games

Description: The Renaissance Games is an extraordinarily powerful program which encourages young people to bond and to try things they would never ordinarily attempt. It was conceived by the Institute for International Sport in 1995. It is based on the unique concepts of emphasizing well-rounded students, building a bridge between academic, cultural, and athletic participants and response to specialization in education and sport today. Competitions are with other Rhode Island schools. Teams are awarded points for victories, completion of the tasks, as well as degree of success. All students are welcome to apply. Selections are made by the faculty Renaissance Committee.
